The idea of making the short film 'Woo Hoo!', What inspired it?

Posted by Nitin Maheta | September 02, 2020 Comments: 0

There is a possibility that you might haven't seen my short film, which I published on July 1st, 2020, on my YouTube channel. The short film is about time travel, and I have tried to give a message by the end of it, and for that, you need to check that out.

You people might be thinking that what I am up to now in this article? So, I will be sharing the idea of making a short film on time travel in this article today. And after reading this article, you people will get to know the suspense of the short film. I would suggest you watch the short film before moving further with this article.

If you haven't yet watched the short film, then click here.

And if you have already watched it, then read it further.

My Experiences and Equipment

Talking about my experience, then It's been four years since I'm into video making, and I must say that I have learned a lot, and there is still a lot more to earn. Video making is my passion, and since I am not making much from videos, I have limited equipment. And to learn more about this, I would suggest you read my previous post, Why do I LOVE making videos? (Is it just for Money?)

Before this short film, I have also made a short film titled Suicide, published in two parts and 18 minutes long. [LINK] I wanted to capture the reactions of people. Thus I made my friends and family sit beside me to watch the film And after watching it till the end, I have got mixed reviews where few not understood the concept. A few of them couldn't be able to connect. A few seem to get bored of it but watching it as if I have forced them to But, a few of them loved it. I thought that it might depend on a person's interest, But I did note that I will make a short one in terms of duration from the next time while shooting or making a short film.

The idea of Time Travel and Painkiller

As far as I know, there hasn't been any single Time Travel film which I haven't seen because it always has been my favorite genre. And since then, I had an idea to make a short film on time travel. Before making this short film, I haven't just seen the movies, but I have even read about time travel. And we all know that when we dedicate ourselves to something, that thing continuously revolves in our mind.

One day, I suffered from a severe headache, and I took a painkiller and went to sleep. I had a weird dream, which made me wake up around two times that night, and the last dream of mine, I remembered.

The last dream was like; I had an application in my smartphone from which I used to travel to different places at different time intervals.

In the beginning, I was traveling 2018-19-20 years only, but then all of a sudden, I traveled billions of years back and got stuck. I could only see jungles and even dinosaurs' voices. I was afraid, and when I tried to come back to present 2020, I wasn't able to because I found that the app isn't working anymore because there was no technology. And this meant that I wouldn't be able to come back to 2020, and this dream was so realistic that I was afraid.

All of a sudden, I woke up from sleep and realized that it was just a dream. Honestly, I never had any weird dreams or real fantasies like these ever, and if I ever had, then I don't remember them.

Then I thought that a painkiller did this wonder. And then researched Google and came to know that yes, people often get weird dreams after consuming painkillers. And while exploring the same, I realized that it isn't right to consume painkillers, and many people even have an addiction.

For the next few days, I couldn't come back from this weird dream, and then I thought, why not make a short film on time travel itself. And this will even make me happy because I always wanted to make a short film on time travel, and I can even give me the right message.

And then I started working on my short film.

I finished the shooting of this short film in two days, but the editing took 15 long days, And even I slightly changed the story. But most of it is as same as I have seen in my dream.

This short film is just ten minutes long, including behind the scenes. And this time, everyone loved my short film, and none got bored with it.

Many of my friends are making short films for a long and have more experience than me, who pointed out the editing mistakes.

While making this short film, I have learned a lot and will be learning more with my next.
So, this was the idea behind this short film on time travel.

Why do I LOVE making videos? (Is it just for Money?)

Posted by Nitin Maheta | July 19, 2020 Comments: 0

I have invested 2 lac+ rupees in purchasing video equipment, and it is just not enough because to make videos, we need more money to spend.

The first thing was my camera canon 80D that I bought on 8th October 2016, and that too when I did not know how to use a camera or edit the videos.

So, why did I invest that much money in video equipment?

Is it to make a lot of money?

NO!

The simple answer to this question is, "I love making MEMORIES!"

But that doesn't mean I hate money. YES, I need money.

And the money I earned or will earn from making the videos will help me buy more equipment. Because 2 lac is nothing, and there is no limit when it comes to the video equipment.

You won't believe it, but even after spending 50 lac or any more considerable amount, one can't be satisfied enough. You will always find something new to add to your gear.

Wherever I go, I always keep my video equipment with me, because I love capturing the views. I always try shooting videos from different angles and locations. I also do free video shoots on some special occasions for my family, friends, and relatives because it helps me learn new techniques.

I did more than 150 video shoots, and honestly, I learned a lot about it throughout. And now, what I love the most is the learning, gaining knowledge, and editing. To be honest, I can spend hours into video shooting and editing, without even getting bored. And the funny part is, my family thinks I am a maniac. :D

I guess now you all will understand why and how much I love making videos. But you might think that is it all just because I love making memories or capturing moments?

So, since I love making videos, I do like having the equipment too, and if I have all the required equipment, I will make a lot of videos, and eventually, I will have a lot of memories.

I would love to show my future family my video shoots and pictures I captured, telling them an exciting story. I would even like to share my experience and show them how I started carrying cameras and laughing with my funny shoots.

That all will happen in the future, right? Memories are for the future. But I love the whole process of learning new and creative things that are happening now.

Apart from making videos and editing stuff, I learned to write stories. Recently I have made a short film "Woo Hoo" which is a time travel based short film, and it has the right message at the end.

It was just a thought in my mind; I made the story out of it, then I created a video out of it. Can you imagine how happy I was throughout the process, and how proud I feel for myself?

Well, If I talk about my plans, There is no plan, and I don't know if I will make any.

That's all I wanted to share with all of you.

If you have any questions or want to share your story, the comment section is yours.

Thank you.

Madhavpur Beach - A beautiful landscape (My Experience)

Posted by Nitin Maheta | March 01, 2020 Comments: 0
My 2020's First Trip to Madhavpur. Last time, I went to Hingolgadh and Bhimora in December 2019, and I have already shared my experience in the blog post along with the videos on my YouTube channel.

15th February 2020- Saturday (8:30 A.M.)
We left from Rajkot for Madhavpur. In between, there came in a lot of places like Gondal, Junagadh, and Mangrol. We reached Madhavpur around 3 P.M.

Gondal

Gondal is 40 kilometers from Rajkot. We reached Gondal around 10 A.M. and had 'Daal Pakwaan,' which is one of my favorite foods to have breakfast.

A post shared by Mr. Nitzz (@mr.nitzz) on

Just in front of this place, we saw something like a Heritage place, and we asked the owner of the food stall who told us that its Sangramji High School. We loved the place to get some pictures clicked. So, after having breakfast, we went inside the school and clicked a few photos from the ground of the school itself.

Junagadh

There was some construction work going on the highway, and thus, we had to move further towards Madhavpur from between the central Junagadh city. Around 1 P.M. we reached Vanthali, a small village which is 16 kilometers from Junagadh. And there we had lunch at Vachhraj Restaurant. And then, we left for Madhavpur.

Madhavpur Beach (Ghed)

Around 3 P.M., we reached Madhavpur, our final destination. The location of Madhvpur beach is at the Madhavpur Ghed, which is between the Somnath-Porbandar highway.

Out of the 7561 kilometers total coastline of the Arabian Sea, it gives approximately 1600 kilometers long coastline to the mainland where Gujarat has the most beautiful beaches, including Somnath beach, Mandvi beach, Tithal beach, Dwarka Beach and Diu & Daman.

So, if you are still finding a new beach to explore, then its Madhavpur Beach.

I must say that it is one of the most beautiful Azure water beaches in Gujarat. What makes it unique?

Picturesque Landscape

We all have seen many coastal line areas in the movies and videos, but I wanted to explore it in real. I always wanted to experience the feeling of the coastal line. And this nature at Madhavpur beach gave me a chance to enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Madhavpur Beach is a 6-km long Azure water beach which gives natural vibes. I am sure that if you would visit this beach, then you won't be able to stop yourself from experiencing the beauty of the seashore. You will fall short of words to describe the fantastic landscape, which is hard to compare to anything.

Camel Ride at Madhavpur Beach

So, here I experienced the first camel ride of my life. And honestly, I did enjoy it. The camel ride is for 100 INR, affordable one for one hour. Here are a few pictures of mine doing a camel ride.

Water sport activity at Madhavpur Beach

Madhavpur Beach also has sport and water activities. The Vijay Water Sports group owns all the sports activities. Some of the events are:-

  • Jet Ski ride – 300 RS
  • Speed Boat – 200 RS
  • Desert Bike – 200 RS
  • Banana Boat – 300 RS
  • Parasailing by boat – 1000 RS

Note:-
1) The fare is for per person
2) The activity charges may change
3) Few activities might not be available according to the weather conditions

Things to do at Madhavpur Beach

  • Exploring the picturesque landscape
  • Have a beautiful and peaceful environment sitting at the seashore
  • Horse and Camel rides
  • If you love adventure, then go for water sports activities
  • You can have the best view of the sunset from the beach
  • If you love Kathiyawadi food, then you can visit the local restaurant, or else you can bring your own homemade food too.

Things to know before visit Madhavpur Beach

  • It is one of the cleanest and most transparent water beaches in Gujarat.
  • It is not safe for swimming because of deep waters and high waves. And even you won't find any lifeguards, so be safe.
  • There are no facilities to stay except for a few hotels and guest houses. The best options to-stay are available in Somnath or Porbandar.

Places to visit near Madhavpur

  1. Madhav Rai temple
  2. Rukmani Temple
  3. Osho Ashram
  4. Madhavpur turtle Hatchery

Rukmani Temple (Madhuvan) at Madhavpur

Around 5 P.M., we left for Rukmani temple from Madhavpur Beach. The place where Rukmani temple is situated is known as Madhuvan. We met BharatiBapu at the temple, who shared information about Madhuvan and the temple with us.

He told us that there used to be a Rakshas, named Madhu, who lived at this place. And God Vishnu killed him here. This is the reason behind the name of this place.

Furthermore, he told us that Shri Krishna got married to Rukmani at this place, and to date, on the same day of Chaitra Shukal Baaras, people here witness the wedding vows, and the site holds a religious fair, called Mela.

I Broke My Mic

After Rukmani Temple, we planned to visit the Madhavrai temple, but it was late evening, and sadly, my mic broke because of my mistake. And my whole mood ruined, and thus, we left Madhavpur around 7 P.M.

Moreover, Madhavrai Temple is a beautiful place for videography and photography, but we missed it. But, next time, whenever we will visit Porbandar or Junagadh, we will come to Madhavpur again and visit the places we have missed this time.

Bhimora Cave Near Chotila | Alan Sagar Lake | Jasdan

I am back with the second part of my previous article, where I mentioned about my experience from Rajkot to Hingolgadh. In brief, I would like to say again that I traveled with my Travel buddy Mr. Bhavesh Sondagar and we stayed at my maternal uncle's home in Jasdan.

Now, it's about my second day, which is 29/12/2019, where I will talk about my experience from Jasdan to Alan Sagar Lake and Bhimora.

Jasdan

After exploring Hingolgadh, we came back to Jasdan and spent our night at my maternal uncle's home. We planned to wake up at 5 in the morning, but it was so cold that we couldn't be able to make up our mind. It is about the winter season, and when you visit this place during winters, you will experience the extreme cold, which is different from that of the cities. You can feel the difference in the weather can through the smell of the air itself. After a long time, I had a deep sound, peaceful sleep. And we woke up at 8 in the morning and left home at 9 for Bakhalvad village, which is 5 km from Jasdan. This time my maternal brothers, Anil Mandir and Bhavesh Mandir, along with my brother-in-law, Gautam Chanv, accompanied us.

I am back with another experience of my next trip to Hingolgadh, Aalan Sagar Lake, and Bhimora. It was exactly after 13 days of coming back from the Statue of Unity. Together with my Travelling Buddy, Mr. Bhavesh Sondagar, we planned that he would travel from Surat to Rajkot. From Rajkot, I will accompany him for the next 60 kilometers to Jasdan. All the places we planned to visit, that is, Hingolgadh, Aalan Sagar Lake, and Bhimora, were near to Jasdan. And my maternal family resided at Jasdan. And this time, we not booked any hotel room but stayed at Maternal Uncle's home.

Rajkot to Jasdan (60 KM)

Saturday- 28th December 2019
Bhavesh took a bus from Surat at 5 in the evening on 27th December 2019 and reached Rajkot around 7 in the morning the next day. Around 8 in the morning, we both left for Jasdan and arrived around 10.

We both had lunch at my Maternal uncle's place and then went for Hingolgadh.

Jasdan to Hingolgadh (18 KM)

From Jasdan, my cousin brother, Bhavesh Mandir, accompanied us to Hingolgadh, and thus, we needn't have to use Google Maps.

While traveling, we had a great look at an old railway station, which is closed now. We clicked a few pictures there.

So guys, are you following me on Instagram? If not yet, please do follow me @nitinmaheta_official. I want you people to get the instant updates, as publishing the articles and uploading the videos take time. And I do come live on Instagram and even post stories and posts on the feed.

Coming back, we left from the old railway station to Hingolgadh after clicking a few pictures.
